Sheffield Hallam University is offering GREAT Scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year, each worth £10,000.
Scholarships are available for students from:
- India
- Thailand
- Pakistan
The university is also offering scholarships for master’s programmes related to justice and law, for students from:
- Nigeria

Based in the £11 million Hertha Ayrton STEM Centre, you’ll use industry-standard tools and equipment, from flight simulators, wind tunnels and automotive workshops to robotics labs. You’ll also get to work on real projects and undertake a year’s work placement. Courses cover a wide range of specialisms, including aerospace, automotive, electrical, manufacturing and food engineering. You’ll learn using some of the latest technology, and get practical experience through our links with major corporations, and digital media specialists. The Department of Computing teaches courses in a wide range of specialisms, including computer science, information systems, networking and software engineering.

Develop your skills, gain hands-on experience and become an employable specialist in international or domestic human rights. You’ll cover wide-ranging subjects and issues in human rights and graduate as a skilled, knowledgeable and employable practitioner. Module choices give you the chance to study either a social science or legal focus. You will understand how human rights organisations work in practice and gain a deep understanding of human rights law, principles and policy.
We offer the opportunity to get involved in applied/practical work in either our law firm, SHU Law, our Refugee Rights Hub or with one of our criminal justice partners. You’ll also study using the prestigious Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice.
